Outcomes from a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Colleges-issued survey launched to the general public on Tuesday. The survey’s goal was to collect enter on what the group desires within the subsequent CMS Superintendent.

The faculty board has been working with consulting agency Civility Localized to find out what dad and mom and group members had been searching for in a brand new CMS superintendent.

The eight-week group engagement initiative, that lasted from Sept. 26 to Dec. 13., included interviews, focus teams, a survey, and group listening classes to be taught what folks need within the district’s subsequent chief.

There have been roughly 1,714 survey responses and over 200 folks participated within the focus group, listening session or interviews.

“The aim was to achieve as many views as attainable,” Christine Edwards, Founding father of Civility Localized, stated. “We worth the lived experiences of every participant and hope this report illuminates the wants and priorities of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg group in an genuine manner.” 

The board will start conducting its official search with an expectation of hiring the superintendent by summer season.
